    Growing up, photography had always been a hobby of mine.  My dad and I both had dark rooms in the 35mm photography days and developed all of our own pictures.  I took two semesters of photography from a gentleman that use to be a photographer for National Geographic.

 

   Modern day photography is totally different.  Artificial intelligence (AI) along with digital photography has made a huge improvement in what you can do with a print.  With photo editing, you can bring out the colors so much better.  In doing some of this work, I discovered a technique that I had never seen before.  This, along with printing on metal or MDF wood brings out the “WOW” in a picture.

 

    My artwork starts with a picture that I have taken.  Next, I create what I refer to loosely as a "new modern art / abstract" picture of the original.  Then I use this "new modern art / abstract" as the base and insert the original over it, using the "abstract" as a specialized unique border.  Now you have three different pictures that can be mounted together creating a very unusual conversation piece for people look at and discuss.  This set of three pictures will stay in their minds since it is a unique representation, and they will remember where they were when they saw them.  This will etch in their minds what an unusual piece of art – not just a picture. 

 

   My technique not only brings out the "WOW" in a picture, but also makes a     person go "HMMM."

 

    Regardless, if you buy the set of three or individual prints, I have more options / variations of photography to choose from than the traditional photographer.
